The HIDE Group was founded in 2000 by John Jordan after his 33 year tenure with Triangle, Velsicol/Sandoz and BASF, and through contract salesmen, successfully launched products such as Farm$aver Mepiquat Chloride, Acephate and CPT’s ClearOUT herbicide. ClearOut was the first of the Chinese Glyphosates to come into the country.

In 2004, The HIDE Group received their own label for Mep 42, and through AP&L, purchases and packages Grandslam 4XS. Although being the victim of frivolous litigation and the target of the traditional distribution, The HIDE Group has continued to prevail in bringing generic and market mature products direct to the grower at prices far below the distribution. The HIDE Group has saved the end user millions and millions of dollars on Glyphosate and Mepiquat Chloride alone. The HIDE Group is also credited with giving the grower a choice and changing the way they purchase their Ag Chemicals.

Today, The HIDE Group is still the only supplier that sells direct from Manufacturing to the end user. We are continuing to add additional products and increase the availability and service to our customers.
